WHERE CREATIVE WRITING COMES TO LIFE:

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS

The Inferno's Call was my first attempt at writing a homebrew campaign. It's entirely localized to the small town of Cinturia, and focuses on character relationships and the idea that willpower and belief strengthen the soul. This campaign is my most fleshed-out piece of work to date, as I've had the pleasure of running it twice with two different parties, and therefore, have been able to rewrite my past mistakes and innovate the narrative in order to better fit the second iteration of players.

In the expansive world of Ruvani lives five factions complete with their own capitals, military systems, forms of government, religions, as well as a vast array of towns and cities. It's by far my largest labor of love in terms of size and scope and has been an ongoing passion project for over two years now. I make an extra effort to ensure that most characters, places, and items have connections to something else in a completely different area to give the sense of a better, more cohesive world. I've poured every ounce of world building knowledge I have into this campaign, and I plan for it to only get bigger with time.

From players thinking they were never going to experience the party dynamic of their dreams again to getting an entire campaign made for them, Orderly Chaos is a project that dives the deepest into the player experience field of my game and narrative design expertise. Because of this, it allowed me to step out of my narrative comfort zone and gave me the chance to dabble in a genre I've been meaning to for years: eldritch horror. Every session starts and ends in a serious manner, but everything in-between is filled with laughter, gags, and inside-jokes that make the campaign special.
